Philippine Association of Colleges and Universities Commission on Accreditation (PACUCOA) visited First City Providential College (FCPC) for its Level 1 Formal Visit, July 19 and 20, 2018 which was led by Dr. Ester B. Vedana, the Chairman for FCPC Accreditation for Level 1.

The Tertiary Education Department aced the accreditation and passed the Level 1 formal visit with a high rating. Last December 4, 2018 the school president, Dr. Estrella O. Simon together with the Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Echel Simon-Antero together with the College Deans and school officials arrived at the 29th Annual General Assembly at Novotel Manila, Araneta Center, Cubao to receive the Welcome Plaque from the association which was given by the PACUCOA President, Dr. Congrado Inigo.
This remarkable recognition was witnessed by autonomous universities and accredited colleges from different places all over the country as well as the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) Chairperson Prospero ‘Popoy’ de Vera.

The programs that were accredited in to Level 1 from the tertiary education department includes, BS Nursing, B Secondary Education, B Elementary Education, BS Information Technology and BS Hospitality Management. FCPC aims to be a world-class university for lifelong education through its excellence in providing quality education and now getting near to be the first and the best autonomous private non-sectarian university in San Jose del Monte, Bulacan.

As of now the institution is preparing for its upcoming Level 2 Formal visit that will happen next year together with the offering of new programs and opening of the College of Engineering.

On the other hand, the other programs (BS Tourism, BS Midwifery, BS Office Management) is now preparing for their Level 1 Formal visit, while the newly opened programs/college prepares their documents and accreditation materials.
